About the Business

Viaggio in Italian translates to "journey" and this restaurant intends to take their guests on a culinary journey to the southern region of Italy while incorporating the familiarity of American dining.

Executive Chef, Victor Perdue, moved to this new, Italian-American, casual dining restaurant with "fresh" being the key component to his concept. "I have always dealt with pressure well and that's what I love most about working in the kitchen," Perdue says. The kitchen has always been a part of his life. Since graduating from culinary school, Perdue has worked as the executive chef at Giannotti's, was the former owner of Vic's on Main and was also the former executive chef for Rosebud at Carmine's on Rush Street, under well-known chef, Joe Farina.

Viaggio is now open on Sundays and takes reservations up until 8pm! Call today to reserve your table. We are also open on Sundays with the conjunction of a United Center event, be it Blackhawks, Bulls or concerts. Our kitchen is open an extra hour after Bulls and Blackhawks games. We also adjust hours for special events at the United Center!
