The cooking style is closely related to the cuisine in the Piedmont region of Northern Italy. Located off Dresden Drive, the elegant restaurant creates an intimate and comfortable dining experience with intelligent cuisine selections. Valenza is a neighborhood-friendly restaurant bringing a family-oriented feel to upscale dining. In fact, Michel and Tonya chose to name the restaurant Valenza because it is not only the name of a quaint Italian town, but also encompasses the name of their son, Valen. The sun in the logo of the restaurant is also a reference to him.

Michel Arnette's passion for fine dining and attention to detail has positioned him as an expert in the Atlanta dining scene. Arnette started his career with the respected Buckhead Life Restaurant Group at the Italian restaurant Pricci. He was head server and trainer, teaching employees the ins and outs of service in fine dining. After five years and a promotion to manager at Pricci, as well as a stint as manager at Veni Vidi Vici, Arnette accepted the general manager position at Buckhead Diner. He taught staffers how to improve service and delivery by focusing on a professional, yet warm and familiar dining experience.
