About the Business

Trattoria Trecolori's history began back in 1991, when our father, Joaquin L. Gonzalez, or "Jack," opened the first set of doors on East 53rd Street as Trecolori. A few years later, in December of 1993, he relocated to a central location in the Theatre District on West 45th Street, and slightly changed the name to Trattoria Trecolori. This is where Trecolori really began to grow strong roots with its customers; offering fresh Italian recipes with unsurpassed service, all at very reasonable prices. Patrons would particularly recognize the extraordinary service, led by "il patrone," Jack, his sons Marco and Victor. Success and growth continued until Jack's untimely death on January 10, 2001. His sons Marco, Victor and Phil are proud to continue the family business. On May 8th, we moved to a bigger location at 254 W. 47th St, across Times Square, with meticulous planning of decor, menu and wine list. Fortunately our same team of staff returned to deliver great service in our new venue!
