I started in the industry in 1976 and wanted to find a better way to deliver service. Between the flat- rate pay for technicians and the service advisors on commission it is pretty hard for the consumer to get a square deal. When the advisor just wants to sell everything to build a check and the technician wants to get things done as fast as possible, good advice and quality of work suffers. Our Service advisors are never paid commission and our ASE Certified Technicians are not paid flat rate. We have information on technician and service advisor's pay plans in the industry on our website. In order to keep the best people available on staff long term and make sure their focus is our clients not their paycheck, our personnel are well compensated without the ups and downs experienced by those on commission type pay plans.
