Doing exactly what he thought he would never do, Farhad found himself in the middle of the veggie world 7 years ago, when he converted his first Mercedes in the hills of UC Santa Cruz. Since then he has worked his way up from being the "loco" student who collected vegetable oil behind the campus dining halls, to being the "weird" guy who collects vegetable oil from behind brewpubs and restaurants in the Portland area.
