About the Business

After completing her MBA at The University of Texas at Austin, Alissa Bayer decided to forgo a traditional post-MBA job and instead launched milk + honey spa. Not only did she see an opportunity in Austin for a luxury day spa, but it was important to her to build something that made -- and continues to make -- others feel great.
Then and now, milk + honey's mission is clear: to make people feel good, commit to clean ingredients, enrich employees' lives, and give back to the community.
milk + honey has grown to include a collection of six spas -- with Fort Worth being its newest location -- and the milk + honey product line of organic, non-toxic bath and body care products, which stemmed from Alissa's desire to create hyperclean essentials she'd want to use every day.
