Sovay Reeder opened the salon, Salon Sovay, in January 2007 with a goal of creating a comfortable environment where stylists could independently practice their artistic skills to optimize their client's best aesthetic potential.

The business concept took off with a small team of artists chosen for their complementary, yet unique talents and abilities. We provide a wide array of hair services (color, cut), hair extensions, medical aesthetics treatments (Botox/Dysport/JUVEDERM and Restylane Fillers/Kybella/Eurothreads), all waxing services, all lash extension services including eye-opening eyelash perms and lash lifts!

The salon is a cozy cottage nestled in the hippest zip code area of Austin...78704. Which means that you can, and are encouraged, to relax in a home style environment while receiving upscale hair design and couture. The stylists are independent here, but the salon mission requires that every client's unique and individual aesthetic potential be placed foremost.

Sovay's career in healthcare began after graduating from Old Dominion University with a Bachelors in Speech Communication.  Her work experience began in medical and healthcare initiating with Charter Behavioral Healthcare as the Physician Clinical Communications Manager, Methodist Healthcare System as a Physician Liaison, and GlaxoSmithKline Pharmaceuticals as a Corporate Trainer and Senior Pharmaceutical Representative.  Her passion for healthcare combined with aesthetics was realized when she retired from the corporate world and opened her award-winning salon, Salon Sovay, in 2007.  In addition to owning and managing her salon, Sovay began nursing school in 2017 and has been working as a Medical Injector.  She has received extensive clinical training from Allergan, Galderma Pharmaceutical, and Merz Aesthetics learning the most advanced techniques!
