Simply put our specialty is customer satisfaction. How we achieve it is what sets us apart…This space was created to generate a positive experience for both patrons and staff. We prioritize the well-being of the people we serve and the people who serve them above our bottom line. Our profit is generated through integral practices then reinvested to enhance the livelihoods of our staff by providing benefits rarely seen in our industry; employer sponsored health insurance, short and long term disability benefits, high commissions and living wages for all employees regardless of position. We are currently working towards providing retirement plans and paid time off. In addition to employee benefits we sponsor our employees continued education and place significant emphasis on humility and effective communication to ensure our stylists skills are utilized to best serve the clients in their chairs. We disagree with many industry standards like product-pushing and upselling for the sake of profit. Those practices prove that profit comes when profit is valued. I’m Meshelle and while technically I am the owner, I’m entirely too disorganized to run a business on my own. After years working in high-end salons that valued profit over people and skill, I had a vision to create an inclusive space that nurtured freedom, creatively, skill, and valued people over profit. This is a group effort carried out by many incredible individuals- stylists, managers, receptionists, and myself.
