About the Business

Due' Cucina was ideated in 2013 by Filippo and Davide over a lunch break in Sydney, Australia. Two avid pasta lovers, our co-founders shared their frustration for the very few healthy lunch options available. That conversation triggered a journey of research and experimentation that lead, two years after, to develop our all-natural, nutritionally balanced pasta formula. In 2016 the duo moved to Seattle, attracted by the city's vibrant food scene, to launch our first restaurant.

Filippo is dueminuti's head chef and co-founder. He's Italian, born and raised in Tuscany, Italy. He studied and worked in Italy, Canada, and China, where he taught Italian culinary classes and participated in a national culinary tv talk show. He moved to Seattle in 2016 to launch dueminuti.
