About the Business

We are a Northwest neighborhood restaurant located in Seattle's most historic Pioneer Square. The restaurant is a celebrated location with the sights and sea air of Elliot Bay steps away. Italian cuisine has long been important to the Northwest and Seattle market. In the restaurant community Victor Rosellini set the standard. His famed Rosellini's 410 was mere blocks away. The meaning of food in relation to a life well lived were ideas first brought to light here through the books of Dr. Angelo Pellegrini. Our sourcing of the freshest simple ingredients honor our native son and grand-author of the Unprejudiced Palette.

Here at 84 Yesler, seafood is important to us. We are fortunate in Seattle to have a catch revered worldwide. We work with familiar local purveyors and wholesalers, sourcing with care and attention to cultivate the relationship from fisherman to table. With respect to artisans and cooks alike, we work in the art of hand-made hand-cut pasta. Fresh pasta, intended to absorb moisture and flavor of patiently braised proteins, is another cornerstone of our culinary endeavor. Additionally, in the Northwest we have a microclimate that enables growing vegetables and foraging mushrooms second to no other region. We honor these ingredients with pride. The Northwest has also found richer and bolder proteins such as meat and game important. We are fortunate to be home to noteworthy independent, organic, and sustainable farms we consider partners. We are proud to offer a global list of beverages. We feature wines and spirits from around the world with an emphasis on Italy and the Northwest. Our cocktail program is founded in classics with Italian bitters, fresh ingredients, modern innovation and a broad palate of spirits. Our intention is to provide an experience for guests celebrating special occasions, travelers, neighbors and solo diners alike. Opened Sushi Kashiba in 2015 as a Partner at Pike Place Market. Opened 84 Yesler at Pioneer Square in Seattle in 2020 during Pandemic. 79 years old with ambition in restaurant business, dream with our team.
