About the Business

After five years at one of Austin's elite downtown salons, Wild Orchid owner and stylist, Danielle, decided the time was right for her to open her own salon. Since taking over Wild Orchid Salon in Downtown Austin in March 2012, the salon was immediately renovated with new reception furniture and comfortable styling chairs. The style is modern and clean yet relaxing with soft calming gray on the walls and accents of purple. Wild Orchid added it's 2nd location in early 2014 with Wild Orchid Salon + Spa located right on the city limits of Bee Cave and Lakeway. The latest Wild Orchid Salon + Spa location opened in September 2014 at the intersection of Westlake Drive & Capital of Texas Hwy. The location was previously home to Pearl Salon and Skin Studio. Wild Orchid Salon + Spa offers full-service hair care and skin spa services.

Beginning her career 10+ years ago at Barton Creek Resort's Three Springs Spa, Danielle put herself thru cosmetology school while working full time and still find time to observe the talented stylist around her. After finishing school, she decided to take on a bigger challenge and joined the team at Jose Luis Salon. With a nine month apprenticeship, Danielle mastered the ability to understand each client's personal needs. After learning the Jose Luis cutting method, taking extensive Wella color classes, and displaying a passion for hair, she has built a clientele that ranges from long dimensional blondes to radiant red heads and a proportionate mix of men and women. Her work has been displayed in fashion shows for Richie Rich, Art Bra, Austin Fairy Godmother, Tribeza and Pi Beta Phi Alumnae Spring Fashion Preview. Danielle's attention to detail and creativity has made her a respected and desired stylist in Austin.
