Virgil’s Cocktails and Cocina
Originally opened in 2016 as a taco and drinking joint, Virgil’s has rebranded itself in 2020 with a more elevated cocktail and traditional Mexican food experience. We have Dj’s most nights of the week spinning a soulful, downtempo vibe! You’ll find a delicious cocktail program and a full service dining experience that won’t disappoint. You should still ask why we’ve been “shooting the bird since 1983!”

2016:
Virgil’s Original Taqueria
Raleigh had a need for a bad-ass little Taco joint. Not a Mexican Restaurant per-say, rather the city was begging for authentic, hand made tacos done the right way. Virgil answered by coming off the top rope and delivering tacos, appetizers, entrees, cocktails, beers and killer atmosphere! Be sure to ask why we’ve been “shooting the bird since 1983!” Tacos... tacos... tacos!
