Valle Luna, which means "Moon Valley", is an old fashioned family business that proudly observes
the Sonoran food traditions. The entire southern border of Arizona is bounded by the great Mexican state of Sonora. With their proximity and stark topographical similarities, it is only natural that these two friendly states would share their cultures, and reflect such things as architecture and building style, some music and language and of course, food traditions.

Valle Luna is family owned and operated since our inception in the Valley in 1983 at our flagship location at 3336 W. Bell Rd.  Grandma Rita opened the store after relocating to the Valley from upstate New York, where she owned and operated Tia Rita's Mexican Food.  Her Sonoran style recipes remain to this day at each of our 3 locations in the Valley.
