About the Business

We bought this Thai Restaurant in April 2010, where my wife had been the chef, for the past 5 years. We kept much of the same staff, but immediately change recipes to our liking. We put art, music, lighting, & a big TV inside the dining room. Over the next couple months we, upgraded, rewired, recovered, fixed & replaced broken parts, pieces, & all things in desperate need of love here.
We introduced live music last July 10th on the eve of our official grand opening, & have done it every Saturday night. We do it for the love of music. We have been working on the beer & wine list. We have tried to deliver as promised, great tasting wines and domestic, import, and craft beers at very reasonable prices. Our one year anniversary party will be on Sunday July 3rd, we will open our doors @ 4pm, KaBoom Town, fireworks will be featured, we will have live music, outdoor Thai Barbeque, and all kinds of other surprises and fun. We are only OPEN for this one special Sunday.

We specialize in great Thai Food like , Pad Thai, Pad Ke Mow, Red Curry, Lemongrass Chicken, Spicy Beef, Hot N' Spicy Stirfry, Homemade Dumplings, Grilled Satay, New Avocado Crab Fresh Roll, and Mango & Coconut Thai Kai, & not to forget my wife P'or's yummy Tom Kha soup. When you enter Thai Star we treat you as we would our family. You are the only reason we are here. We sell Beer/Wine now and I have been working hard to find an unbelievable and tasty beer/wine list @ unbeatable prices. Our wines are delicious, affordable, and compliment our food! Come and check us out for beer and wine. Every Saturday, we feature local live Acoustic Singer Songwrwriter music. Our walls are filled with local artist's Art work. We support and try to help nurture local art. But make no mistake, our Thai Food is our true Star. Our lunch specials are $7.95 and are served with soup or salad, and spring roll. Lunch hours: Monday through Friday 11am to 3pm Take out & free delivery with no minimum.

P'or came to the United States about 8 years ago, after spending much of her adult life working in Bangkok sending money home to support her parents in their later years.  When they past on, she boldly on her own, decided to venture out.  She left behind her family, her high position & standing in a great Thai Bedding company, her house and property, & her dear lifelong very supportive friends to come to a place where she knew no  one.  She found work cooking Thai Food, met Mark & married, @ Thai Star, & they both purchased the restaurant she had worked at for the past 5 years.  Together they have made the restaurant a success, but it is all about the cooking @ Thai Star & P'or is the real STAR.  The recipes have been passed on to P'or & she follows every detail to an art form, creating the finest Thai Food in the world.  P'or can be found here every day working hard, teaching her craft to our staff every day using heart, love, and a bit of magic, to the create our delicious food.
