About the Business

The Mint is Asian Mint's newest branch. We have been recognized by Zagat, D Magazine, Daily Candy, and many local restaurant reviewers and foodies. Nikky Phinyawatana, proprietor/ pastry chef, opened her first location 6 years and became The Thai/ Asian Fusion hot spot. Asian Mint has been certified by Thai Select, honoring our commitment to authentic Thai ingredients. We are known for our Pad Thai coupled with clean and chic atmosphere, friendly service, and a fresh menu. We were rated the best top three new restaurants in Dallas of 2005 when we opened. Since then, we have been the local and neighborhood hang out for families, friends, and business lunch and dinner spot. Come feel the local vibe with us!

Established in 2008.

Thank you for visiting our Yelp listing.  You have come this far, come and visit me at the restaurant too.  My Brother Ink will welcome you when you arrive. He's there most of the time as the manager. I still run around between the two locations and making pastries.  I opened this restaurant two years ago after deciding it was time to expand and respond to the requests in the downtown/uptown area. I opened Asian Mint on Forest Lane 6 years ago in 2004 on somewhat of a dare and the love for eating and making good food and desserts.  I was at the point of deciding what to do with my life and from asking around, there was one that said "What ever you do, don't open a restaurant, it's the hardest thing ever!"  What that, I thought, Let's start with the hardest and prove myself and see if I am cut out for the hardest or not.  With the love and support of all my regulars, familes, and friends, I am still here today and loving it.  Thank you for your support and it's time for YOU to come in.
