About the Business

Your host, Amedeo Ebrahimpour, has lived in Little Italy with his wife, Mary, since 1982. They met while studying abroad in Italy and both speak fluent Italian. After many years in the food business, Amedeo bought the bar on the corner, known as Pepino's, and renovated it during the spring of 2010. The result is a cozy, beautiful building, with exposed brick and original tin ceiling.

Osteria Da Amedeo is a quaint Little Italy bar/cafe with a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. We offer a friendly atmosphere, where you can gather to relax and have homemade food in the back dining room or grab a seat at the bar. We offer many Italian after-dinner drinks, several beers, a wide variety of solely Italian wine, as well as homemade soups, panini, salads and other light fare. We also serve espresso, cappuccino and feature homemade tiramisu. In addition to offering daily flights of wine [four (4) half-glasses for $10] and cheese samplings [$1 per oz.], there are monthly wine and cheese tastings on the third Monday of every month.
