About the Business

With years of research and tastings of Neapolitan pizzas all around the world, we decided to bring our passion to Baltimore in 2012. Four years ago, when we first came to Baltimore, no one was making a true traditional Neapolitan pizza here. Being a husband and wife team, and wanting a truly authentic Neapolitan pizza restaurant, we felt we had to enlist the most prolific pizza master in the USA to help us craft a first class pizza dinning experience. Roberto Caporusico has put his mark on VERDE with wonderful menu creations directly from Italy and also from his internationally known NYC pizza restaurant call KESTE. Our wines have been exclusively selected by Alessandro Malpassi, wine master of KESTE and our beer list has been selected and approved by our owners, Marianne and Edward.

Located in the popular neighborhood of Canton in Baltimore City, Verde is casual, upscale, full-service trattoria specializing in authentic Neapolitan pizza. From an expansive list of traditional and creative wood-fired pizzas, to delicious calzones, homemade pasta specials, fresh salads and homemade desserts, the classic flavors of Italy are offered throughout the menu. The bar features a variety of hand-selected domestic and imported wines, as well as an assortment of local and Italian craft beers and specialty cocktails all with an Italian twist. Combining historic architectural elements with a clean, contemporary look, Verde seats sixty-five people in the main dining and an additional 60 people in our private events room plus beautiful al fresco dining in our patio area (weather permitting). Verde is owned and operated by husband and wife team, Edward Bosco and Marianne Kresevich.
