About the Business

The business was started by my Mother, Immy Moberly. She came to the United States in the late 60s and started one of the first Day Spas in Kentucky. She is a true pioneer of the beauty industry and worked as an educator and distributor for Babor Skin Care and Cosmetics for KY, IN, OH, and TN. She retired from the salon industry in 2002 but still works today as the owner of Ideal Beauty Academies of IN and KY.
I took over the salon business in the late 90s and decided to open an Aveda Lifestyle Salon in The Summit in January of 2008. Omagi SalonSpa is one of the Aveda flagship salons in the Aveda network.
In 2008 we were the Top New Aveda Salon in the nation. In 2009 we were one of the Top Aveda Lifestyle Salons in the nation.
In 2010 and 2011 Omagi was one of the Top 200 Salons in the nation by Salon Today.

I have been in the beauty industry for 35 years. I started out as a stylist and make up artist. I went into skin care and was a trainer and distributor for Babor Cosmeceuticals along with my mother, Immy Moberly. I opened Omagi SalonSpa in January 2008 located in the Paddock Shops(formerly The Summit). At Omagi, we have a passion for service and making the day of our guests!
