I LOVE Japanese food. I am half-Japanese and my Japanese mom cooked mostly Japanese food for us kids. I grew up on the West Coast in Southern California. It wasn't a problem getting Japanese food while I was there but once I left home and had to make it on my own I HAD to learn how make Sushi, Chicken Curry, Tempura just to save my soul. I can not live with out it!
I am perfectly bilingual and bicultural in Japanese so I was able to figure out many great Japanese dishes on my own. If you want to learn how to make authentic Japanese dishes then come check out Katsumi's Teaching Kitchen. You will gain confidense to go to any Asian food mart to purchase your Japanese ingredients to make your yummy foods. You will receive recipes to all the delicious dishes that you make. Also I go over Japanese table manners and proper chopsticks useage. At the end of class you will receive a cute gift too. So come check me out!

You'll learn how to shop for your Japanese groceries, and you get to eat all your yummy foods too. Here at Katsumi's Teaching Kitchen you will be doing most of the cooking so you'll feel very confident at home making Sushi, pot stickers, and Yakisoba! I'll also make sure that you'll know how to use Japanese chopsticks properly and receive recipes to all the items that you make. You can be that confident Japanese food snob!
