About the Business

In 1995 Bob founded IOT (which would later branch out as Helpertech). His vision was to make IOT a provider of a complete IT service solutions not just another vendor.

In 2008 IOT began to offer computer and laptop repair services out of it's Eagan, MN location. At first, only basic repairs were available - such as virus removal, memory upgrades, and hardware replacement.

With the emergence of smartphones such as the Apple iPhone and Samsung Galaxy series, plus the Apple iPad and Samsung Galaxy Tab, IOT began to repair cracked screens, broken glass, and battery replacements on mobile devices too.

In 2010 the Helpertech brand was launched, operating as a division of IOT, still offering it's computer and mobile phone repair services.

In 2016 the first Helpertech store opened (this location). Helpertech operates here still today, providing 15 Minute iPhone Repair to the surrounding community, with no appointments needed and friendly technicians to get your devices fixed fast.
