About the Business

Monte Jostrom started the Greenwood Furnace Co. in the Greenwood area of Seattle in 1921 and quickly built a reputation for providing quality products and services.

In 1995 they moved to Kirkland to expand that high quality of service to the Bellevue, Issaquah, Bothell, Sammamish and the rest of the Eastside. In 1999 Greenwood Heating was sold to Service Experts, a national chain of service companies.

In December of 2004 Greenwood was sold again to Michael Porter, this time going back to it's Puget Sound roots...owned by a local Seattle resident. Mr. Porter is a West Seattle resident and a lifetime Seattle native. He is committed to quality and customer service and quickly implemented a "100% Satisfaction Guarantee"
