About the Business

After several years in the heating and cooling industry Mike Hastings and Rory Richardson teamed up to start Cardinal Heating & A/C inc in 1991. Their goal starting out was to offer each of their customers the very best customer service out there. We have seen the results of having such a goal in the fact that we still have a working relationship with many of the very first customers they worked for more than two decades ago. With each of their unique skills in the HVAC field they have been able to grow Cardinal Heating & A/C inc into a well respected heating and cooling contractor with more than 50 employees.

Mike H. (Business Owner)

Mike started this business in 1991 out of his Eastgate home. At the time, he had just purchased the home and he and his wife Cindy had a newborn baby - life was busy! At the time, it was a risky choice but Mike's determination to build a quality HVAC company was a passion and has been a wonderful decision ever since. Mike hopes to have his son Elliott carry on the family tradition. Mike's partner, Rory Richardson joined in 1991 and has been integral to Cardinal's success. He also has two sons involved in the business.
