About the Business

Founded in London by in 2011 by a partnership that owned the city's very successful Goodman Steakhouses, four best friends from Moscow. They had been working on a burger-centric concept and another devoted to lobster. The notion was to guarantee consistently high quality by taking a craftsman approach, mastering just a few dishes.

They made the combination literal by naming the concept after the dishes it would offer. Everything about Burger & Lobster was unconventional: no printed menu & three choices: a hamburger, a lobster roll and a whole lobster at one price, £20. London's restaurant pundits predicted it would be a failure.

They were wrong; it was packed from day one. Two more Burger & Lobsters were opened in London the following year and there are now two locations in NYC, one in the Flatiron District and one in Bryant Park. We look forward to seeing you.
