It all started in 1977 with our eponymous NYC salon, where we clipped, colored and styled our way into prominence. Since then, we've expanded to two salons, each with its own personality, where our stylists can share ideas, hone skills and perform spectacular (hair) transformations.

Bumble and bumble began as a NYC salon in 1977 - an instant mecca for Manhattanites seeking styles with our signature rebel elegance. We quickly clipped and colored our way into global prominence thanks to a legendary editorial team, a network of like-minded salons, and a collection of cutting-edge products (coveted by hairdressers, It-girls, actors, and beauty junkies everywhere). Almost 40 years later - and after millions of models photographed, clients served, stylists educated and trends created -- we remain passionately and fearlessly dedicated to the craft of hairdressing.
