About the Business

In 2013, Sean took over an Italian Restaurant and Wine Bar in an historical (1886) Exchange District warehouse that was the first drug distribution centre in the North West. He happily continued its elegant, fine dining, white tablecloth service, but really wanted to upgrade to house-made pasta and broader Mediterranean themes using fresh products and avant-garde influences. With these changes came an inevitable shift towards a Bistro atmosphere complete with artistic, copper topped tables and tiled pillars. The result is a more relaxed dining experience that better displays the Chef's innovative talents. On the second floor, there was a more dramatic shift in the décor, food and service. In 2018, the Wet & Dry Department eatery debuted featuring small plate comfort food with a twist, paired with an excellent selection of craft cocktails, curated wines and popular local beers in a warm and relaxing space. The changes have been very well received and both are popular dining spots!
