About the Business

With training and experience in Creative Arts Therapy and Developmental Perceptual Therapy, the owner, JoAnn Kingsley, LMT discovered the power of Transformational Spiritwork and decided to earn a NYS massage therapy license in 2004. 20 years as the Healing Arts Coordinator at the GrassRoots Festival (grassrootsfest.org) and 10 years as a licensed massage therapist has led her to beautiful downtown Watkins Glen and the formation of the Harmonance Wellness Center. An interest in depth oriented psychotherapy combining guided imagery, hands on energy work and a profound appreciation for the power of awareness helps inform her massage therapy practice. JoAnn is particularly interested in helping people Imagine Feeling Better while using medical massage techniques to reduce pain, relieve stress and tension and bring vitality back to the body. The Harmonance Wellness Center invites other healing arts practitioners to become part of this exciting and progressive healing collective.
