Vincenzo De Luca is the founder of Winnipeg's finest authentic Italian cuisine, Vincenzo's Mercato. Vincenzo was heavily involved in Winnipeg’s close-knit Italian community. Vincenzo's journey into the culinary world started at a young age. Engaged in the family business from childhood, he played a vital role both as a young child and throughout his adult life. His passion for food, wine, and family became the driving force behind his culinary endeavors. From stocking shelves to slicing meats, he wore many hats in the family business. As the years rolled by, so did his responsibilities. Vincenzo is not just about the kitchen; Soccer may be his first love (don’t tell his wife!), and as a young athlete he forged many memories & relationships. After 35 years of crafting culinary masterpieces in his family's kitchen, Vincenzo decided it was time to carve out his own legacy.
