Over the last five years, Lavenue and Gobis have helped to shape Austin's cocktail scene to make it what it is today. Both Lavenue and Gobis have made the list for Zagat Austin's "30 Under 30 Culinary Game Changers" and have been rated as Austin's Best Bartender by Eater and the Austin Chronicle, respectively. They both have quite a few competition accolades under their belt, as well, with Lavenue winning the coveted title of "Most Imaginative Bartender" in the 9th annual Bombay Sapphire competition (which landed him on the cover of GQ magazine), and Gobis having won the 2014 Domaine de Canton Global Bartender of the year competition. Their contrasting (but complimentary) styles, combined with their intense focus on providing unwavering hospitality to every guest at The Roosevelt Room, have helped them to make it TimeOut Austin's Best Cocktail Bar and one of Food & Wine's 2016 Best Bars in America.
