About the Business

Taverna Rossa ~ Craft Pizza and Beer was born from the great minds of 33 Restaurant Group and and built from the ground up in Plano, Texas. It's the craft pizza and beer tavern of their dreams, serving crispy, thin-crust Chicago-inspired pizza loaded with locally-sourced ingredients and serving local craft beers. Taverna Rossa - Plano opened in September 2013, followed by Taverna Rossa - Southlake opened in April 2016.

33 Restaurant Group also owns and operate Cadillac Pizza Pub in McKinney, Heritage Pizza & Taproom in The Colony, Union Bear Brewing Co. in Plano, The Yard in McKinney and newly opened Suburban Yacht Club in Plano.

Preston's successful career began before he was even born when he inherited his family's restaurant-centric DNA. His grandparents were in the business for over 50 years. His Mom owns a pizzeria and wine bar where Preston worked as a kid, running food and bussing tables. And after his shift towards entrepreneurialism in college, he turned a semester-long project into an opportunity to plan a pizza concept in detail.
