Founded, owned and operated by Jim and Liz Baron, Blue Mesa is a Southwestern grill serving made-from-scratch, locally sourced food using the freshest ingredients available. The bold flavor profile, artful atmosphere and moderate price point make it a great choice for group events - parties, corporate meetings and gatherings of all sizes. Ranked as the largest restaurant caterer in north Texas by the Dallas Business Journal. Also known for its very popular Sunday brunch.

The Barons' commitment to their community has not wavered. The Good Karma Guacamole program donates 50 cents to a local charity each time guacamole is ordered. The program has raised over $230,000 as of February 2020.

Husband and wife team, Liz & Jim Baron, joined forces in business in 1988 to create their first Blue Mesa Grill in Addison.  Today they have 3 Blue Mesa Grills in the DFW area and TNT / Tacos and Tequila in Uptown, Dallas.  They are passionate about serving made-from-scratch, locally sourced food using the freshest ingredients available. The Barons also support many local charities with their Good Karma Guacamole program.
