Melissa Hunt- Schuft was an independant stylist for 15 years before deciding to open her own salon at 6801 Wayzata Blvd.St Louis Park

She opened the Salon in September of 2009. After extensive remodelling of the space, she turned it into the little hidden gem it is today.

Melissa Hunt- Schuft went to school at the famous Horst Institute in Minneapolis and graduated at the top of her class. She went on to work for Horst Salons(Juut) for three years. Going through extensive training and apprenticeship. Melissa was mentored by two great stylists Denny Kemp( now owner of The Denny Kemp Salon) and Steve Adams ( now owner of the Moxie Salons) both of which taught her many of the skills she now brings to her Salon. Working at various Salons after leaving Horst Salons as an independant contractor inspired her to open her own salon with the knowledge and experiences she had encountered.
