About the Business

Hour Rose Salon was founded in the chic and charming Brooklyn neighborhood of Williamsburg, and was established in 2017 by Owner and Master Stylist, Erin Barr. Her vision and technique as a hair stylist, after analyzing each individual's hair, is to take what nature has given you, and elaborate on your qualities, to create your most beautiful, elegant self. In 2021, Erin expanded her salon to a second location in Minneapolis, MN.

After training at Aveda's headquarters in Minneapolis, Erin moved to New York City where she trained and worked with some of the city's top stylists for the past 18 years. With advanced techniques in cutting and coloring, notably balayage, she and her salon have created quite the following in and around New York City and Brooklyn, and now Minneapolis.
