Stonecrop Design began as an idea for a healing garden at North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale after owner, Cary Anderson, spent time there recovering from an accident. She saw the need for an outdoor space there, knowing that being in nature is very healing, and came up with a design concept and proposal which she presented to the hospital. With the help of a committee of fundraisers and landscapers, a garden was completed which is very popular with residents and staff. Because of that experience, she acquired a landscape horticulture degree and has since designed artful landscapes for residences and institutions. Member of the Minnesota Nursery and Landscape Association.
