About the Business

Our founder, Mitch Carlson, started Green Core Organics in 1998. Green Core Organics provides 100% organic lawn care, and landscaping needs. In 2013 John and Jordan joined the team. Jordan a recent graduate in biology and environmental studies saw the need for alternative and safe methods for lawn care and landscaping. Jordan is constantly testing new products and doing scientific research. John has been doing lawn aeration, overseeding and organic fertilizers in the Minnetonka area since 1998.

We are an organic lawn care company dedicated to creating healthy lawns using all natural methods. By transitioning your yard to organics, you can have a lawn that is not only plush and green, but also safe for your family, your pets and the environment. Our all natural program uses organic, plant based alternatives to synthetic fertilizers and toxic chemicals. We build a healthy soil which in turn builds a healthy lawn. Services include organic fertilizer, compost tea, core lawn aeration, lawn seeding, and soil testing, organic weed controls, landscaping, spring/fall cleanups. We serve the Minneapolis and Saint Paul Metro area.
