About the Business

The Srivilai family, after searching for a West Seattle location for most of the year, opened Srivilai Thai Cuisine for business November 30, 2017. This is the second restaurant venture for our family, and we are extremely grateful to our neighbors for the warm welcome we have received.

We pronounce the name "see vee lai" and the "r" is silent!

Bangkok, Thailand is the hometown of the Srivilai family, and our cuisine reflects the tastes of the sprawling capital city. We offer all of the most popular Thai dishes, and can make most of them Vegetarian, Vegan, or Gluten Free upon request. Try our Srivilai Garden Rolls, Crying Tiger Flank Steak or Curry Puffs for starters, our house Mushroom Soup, or our Som Tum, Larb Talay, or Nam Tok Moo salads. For a healthy entree try our Savory Eggplant, Cabbage in House Sauce, or Bok Choi in Oyster Sauce. Our home cooking uses a lot of vegetables, and these dishes reflect that in particular. In the Rice and Noodles section, we recommend Krapao Kai Dao, a delicious basil chicken dish topped with a crispy fried egg, and Phad Thai Koong Krob is a tasty variation on our most popular dish, with crispy fried shrimp atop Phad Thai noodles. Choo Chee Trout Curry is crispy and delicious, and Pumpkin and Grilled Duck Curries are also popular choices. Our Salmon Curry features wild salmon for reasons of flavor, health, the environment and the regional economy. Beer and wine are served, as well as basic and classic cocktails, and we hope you find something you love to complement your meal.

Hi, I'm Toby, and I'm happy to be serving our great customers here in West Seattle.  My mother raised my brother and me in Bangkok, Thailand, and our cuisine reflects the styles and flavors of the capital.  Srivilai is our family name, and my mother is the chef, my brother works the wok, and I manage the service out front.  We hope you'll join us for lunch or dinner, we think you'll like it.
