About the Business

My husband, who is from Vicenza, Italy and I decided to move our family back to the states about 2 years ago. We wanted to bring authentic handmade italian food to a suburb of Denver. We are a family owned restaurant and are looking forward to becoming a part of the Broomfield community.

Giancarlo wanted to bring traditional northern Italian cuisine to Colorado.  Our pasta is handmade and our sauces are made fresh to order. The food at Scalzotto's is exactly the same cuisine that one would find at a traditional trattoria in northern Italy. We are committed to creating an experience for our clients, especially those who have never had the opportunity to visit Italy. We also wanted to bring this experience to the suburbs of colorado,, giving our customers a downtown experience in their own backyard.
