The Copacabana is an iconic venue in New York City, but it is constantly reinventing itself. As the premier destination for fine catering and private events in the Times Square area, The Copacabana is the ultimate Midtown entertainment destination. Since we opened our doors on November 10th 1940, our 25,000-square-foot venue has hosted legends such as The Temptations, Martha and the Vandellas, Marvin Gaye, and The Supremes. Along with our connection to these musical icons, we are known for our unique Latin-theme orchestras and Brazilian décor, and, of course, our famous "Copacabana Girls," donning elaborate sequined costumes, pink hair and fruit-covered turbans.

As one of the few venues remaining with such a wealth of history and experience, we have the talent, skills, and knowledge to organize and execute social and corporate events of any size or style. After surviving two economic crises (in 2000 and 2007), we have continued to thrive and grow, no matter what the financial climate
