Prati Italia ™ debuted in January 2020, in Chef Tom Gray's location of his former flagship restaurant, Moxie Kitchen + Cocktails. With a new name, new menu and new look the restaurant is also filled with the familiar heart and soul, staff and ownership, led by Chef Tom. We are delighted to share our passion of great food and hospitality in our beautiful space with a menu of housemade pastas, Roman-style pizzas and craft cocktails. Prati Italia is locally-owned and operated...we are your "local" at the Town Center! Enjoy Prati Italia's handmade pastas, Roman-style pizzas, entrees and awesome cocktails from James Beard Award-nominated Chef Tom Gray. Outdoor patio and dining terraces, split level dining and bars, provide many dining options year-round. Prati Italia also offers many private dining and event spaces for groups and gatherings of all sizes. The open kitchen is the perfect place to showcase the diverse menu including Crispy Lasagna with bolognese, provolone, Parmigiano and fresh herbs; Roman-style pizza with pepperoni and sausage, tomato sauce, Asiago, provolone and oregano; and Seared Scallops with pancetta, escarole, garlic-rosemary potatoes and almond salsa. Tom Gray grew up in Jacksonville, Florida and graduated from the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York. Professional experience in New York, Los Angeles, and Napa Valley informed his full-circle approach to owning restaurants, prioritizing sustainability, recycling, and eco-friendly practices. With two James Beard: Best Chef South nominations and countless other awards to his name, Gray continues to innovate in the kitchen as the Chef/Owner of Prati Italia ™  and Town Hall restaurants in Jacksonville, Florida.
