About the Business

Eli Porter launched Porter Contracting 15 years ago as a builder of fine homes featuring high quality craftsmanship. Prior to starting his own business, he had worked for his father's company, Newport Homes, since 2001. Eli works alongside his father, Bill, who came out of retirement to join Porter Contracting.
Porter's philosophy is that your home or business is the fulfillment of your dream. It is the culmination of what you have worked for your entire life.
There are currently fifteen models to choose from as well as the option of a custom designed home.
The trademark of every Porter home is the extra value we built into it for the home buyer. This is achieved by our particular attention to detail, design and quality. Porter has been providing custom and model single-family homes to buyers throughout southwest Florida, including Sarasota and Charlotte counties; Englewood, Venice, Rotonda West, Gulf Cove, South Gulf Cove and Placida Florida.
