As a graduate from The Academy of Cosmetology in Dartmouth, I experienced working as a stylist starting in 1989 in the downtown Halifax location. I made my dream of owning my own Salon and Spa come true in 1993 when I opened Maria's Hair Studio on Quinpool and now called MK Hair and Esthetics and was in Beechville area for 16 years .
