Inspired by his late mother Maria De Los Angeles Gil Armenta, Chef Felipe has once again successfully captured the diverse flavors, herbs, and spices that have been handed down throughout the family year after year. As a young boy, Felipe would spend his summers on the ranch in Guanajuato, Mexico with his grandparents. Here, under the close instruction of his mother and grandmother, Felipe developed his passion for cooking, culture, and heritage. Whether it be everyone together laughing in the cocina, preparing time treasured recipes, or the days spent attending Sunday Mass at Parroquia De San Santiago Apostol, one thing for sure is that close familia, great food, and unconditional faith have always remained at the center of importance. True to our faith, we believe Maria continues to watch over her Cathedral of Flavor!
