Lemon Dogs began simply from a market filled with over-sweetened lemonade, so we made freshly squeezed, perfectly balanced lemonade.

Over the years we’ve tweaked our menu:
- ice pops and freezies made from fresh produce rather than just sugar and water.
- 2015-2020s Tacos made "right" with fresh corn tortillas and ever-changing fillings
- 2021+: Smashburgers entirely made with meatless patties, but that taste just like the real thing! And not just one vegetarian option on a menu.

Krista has been cooking since she was a kid, but ended up getting a degree in photography. She did the freelance thing for a while, but I decided it wasn't fulfilling enough. For fun, in 2013, she started up a lemonade stand at Alderney Landing on the weekends. The reception was warm enough from people that it eventually turned into a full time gig, and it's super exciting that it's been expanding since.
