About the Business
Durty Nelly's opened her doors in February 2009. The owner/operators Joe McGuinness and Kyle Drake had a vision of a truly Authentic Irish Pub in Halifax which focused on the best customer service, high quality food and legendary experiences. To this end, they contacted the Irish Pub Company in Dublin who designed and built the pub in Ireland by Irish craftsmen, shipped across the Atlantic, and rebuilt in Halifax. The bar, moldings, woodwork, ceiling, lighting, mosaics, flooring and artwork all came from Ireland. We even imported two Irish artists to paint the place!
