Juan More was born in Spain and traveled to Cuba to fight in the Spanish American war. While in Cuba, he learned the art of making Cuban bread and brought that knowledge to Ybor City in 1915. Over the years, La Segunda acquired recipes from the many cultures that shape Ybor - Spanish, Cuban, Italian, and German treats that are unique to Tampa Bay.
