About the Business

Juan Jaime's was born on July 1, 2007 by it's two founding partners. John James and Adam Dahlberg. John brought over 20 years of extensive travel to Mexico and a strong business background. Adam had extensive bar experience and together they formed what was to become Juan Jaime's Tacos and Tequila. John had traveled to Mexico since moving to Ariozona in 1988 to finish college. He traveled so much that his friends started calling him Juan Jaime instead of John James. The name stuck and so did his love of Mexico, its people, the culture and of the food that he ate on the streets and in the homes of his new Mexican friends. Adam had much experience behind the bar and with customer service. Adam grew up in Tempe and has always had a passion for people and for great food and great drinks. The two became friends, put their heads together and came up with Juan Jaime's Tacos and Tequila. It was truly born out of passion and love.
