Tyler and Cody both grew up in a northern suburb of Minneapolis (Coon Rapids MN), where they fell in love with the sport of hockey. That instilled in them a hard work ethic, commitment, and dedication to their goals. Being so active growing up Tyler and Cody could not see them doing any profession that does not involve physical activity. Growing up Tyler and Cody always dreamed of running their own business. They both went to school, Tyler received his Finance degree and Cody received a Business degree. It seemed only natural with their love for hockey and background in moving that they would formulate the idea for Goal Line Moving. They felt the name not only incorporates their favorite sport but the idea that the idea that they want to help people move towards their own goals in life.
