Owner Doug had been in the restaurant business since the age of 10. Since then, he always wanted to have his own establishment and worked hard to accomplish his dream. Doug supported himself by working in a variety of restaurants through his college years eventually earning a degree in accounting. Deciding that the traditional office life wasn't for him, Doug decided to marry his love of Burgers and running restaurants and birthed Giant Hamburgers in 2000.
