About the Business

Established in 1920 Frisby the Vulcanizer Ltd. was the company's original name when it was established by George Frisby in 1920 at 88 Lyon Street. A new location on Sparks Street was opened in the late thirties where it stayed until 1967. James Frisby joined the business after serving in WW11 and took over ownership of the company in the late sixties, giving it a new name, a new look with the bright yellow service trucks and the new Frisby Tire logo which has stood the test of time and is still in use today along with our five Ottawa locations. This location was established in 1987.
