About the Business

From a small urban farm in East Austin, Farmhouse Delivery has grown to work with many farms, ranches, and small businesses in Texas to deliver to homes throughout Austin, Waco, Dallas, San Antonio, and Houston. In 2016, Farmhouse Delivery & Greenling, a like-minded organic grocery delivery service, joined together under the Farmhouse name to better serve the greater Texas community. In 2018, Farmhouse Delivery & Trucking Tomatoes joined forces under the Farmhouse name to make quality local foods more accessible through the hundreds of local restaurants and hotels that serve our greater Texas community. Farmhouse Delivery's offerings have expanded from subscription boxes -- with freshly picked vegetables, meats, dairy products, bundle packages to delicious meal kits.

We bring the farm to your door! Farmhouse Delivery offers all Texas-sourced Produce Boxes, Meal Kits, Quick Dinners, and grocery items delivered right to your door. Nearly all of our produce is raised using organic practices and 100% of our meat, dairy and eggs are from animals raised in open pasture with the highest standards of humane treatment. Our grocery items are thoughtfully sourced from local makers who use high-quality ingredients and follow sustainable practices. We offer home or office delivery to customers in Austin, Waco, Dallas, San Antonio, and Houston.

Stephanie Scherzer works to connect communities with their land, and make local food more accessible. Her love of farming and passion for sustainable living guide Farmhouse Delivery's mission and its dedicated staff. She moved to Austin in '93 and has more than 20 years of experience in horticulture - managing John Dromgoole's The Natural Gardner nursery and working for a design build landscape company. She's eager to help others cultivate a deeper understanding of where food comes from, and empower them to be a part of the process. Stephanie and her partner Kim Beal also own and operate Rain Lily Farm, which provides nutritious food for their family, and contributes to Farmhouse Delivery bushels. As a farmer and a mother, Stephanie believes in the benefits of small-scale urban farming, and is a proud and active part of the Austin Urban Farms group.
