About the Business

After selling his eastern NC electrical contracting firm to enter the ministry; Bob Wagner has decided to do it again.
Hearing the horror stories from people about the fees they were charged for substandard service work, owner Bob Wagner decided to take a sabbatical from the ministry and start Express Electrical Service. His desire is to help bring honesty, fairness and integrity back into the electrical service industry.

We offer SAME DAY service. FREE Estimates. We provide 24/7 emergency electrical assistance including Holidays. Our residential customers NEVER pay overtime rates for after hours, holidays, or weekend electrical emergencies. Our electricians are mandated to undergo continuing education in the field of electrical repairs and the National Electrical Code, which is often not mandated by other companies. Our electricians serve all of Raleigh, Durham, Cary, Apex, Clayton, Smithfield, Goldsboro, Kenly, Zebulon, Wendell, Knightdale, Rolesville, Angier, Fuquay, Wake Forest, and surrounding areas.

Bob originally started his first electrical contracting firm in New Jersey in 1983 and shortly thereafter opened another branch in PA. When the recession hit in the late 80s Bob decided the time was right to move to North Carolina where he has been living and working ever since.
